Important 2026 Update
From 1 April 2026, FSSAI licenses and registrations have moved toward perpetual validity, removing repeated renewal cycles for most food businesses. However, businesses must still maintain accurate records, annual fee compliance, return filing, and modification updates whenever business details change. The 2026 reforms also introduced revised turnover thresholds and stronger compliance monitoring. This means that even though repeated renewal may reduce, modification remains mandatory whenever business information changes.
